To usher in Lunar New Year, Old Chang Kee has also introduced two moreish cookies ($16.80 per jar) of familiar local flavours at selected Old Chang Kee and Curry Times outlets. The savoury Curry cookie, made using the same curry recipe as Old Chang Kee’s coveted Curry’O is a delicate nugget that melts in the mouth, each bite revealing nuances of candlenut, galangal (blue ginger), lemongrass, garlic, shallots and shredded curry leaves. A bright amber cookie topped with crispy fried ikan bilis (anchovies) and peanuts, the Nasi Lemak cookie delivers a punch with quintessential ingredients made with dried chillies, assam, belachan and shrimp paste.

 

A firm crowd favourite, Old Chang Kee’s popular Prawn Roll ($12.80 per bottle) are also available at selected 38 Old Chang Kee and Curry Times outlets from 6 January to 28 February 2019.
